Bloom in the Park is happening this May bank holiday weekend. In 2010 Amazon Landscaping and Garden Design were selected to landscape their 'Amazonica Floresta' Concept Garden at Dublin's Pheonix Park as part of the garden festival.
Bloom participants are given 3 weeks to landscape their concept garden designs to the highest possible standards. International Judges from the RHS and experts for different fields of horticulture then inspect each garden and allocate a medal for the gardens construction, planting, themes and uniqueness.
The Rainforest garden featured vertical planting and semi tropical plants choose to bring awareness to the deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest. The Show Garden was successfully auctioned on the last day of show to an individual buyer who wanted to have it reinstalled in their half acre site in Co. Kildare.
The Garden was shipped directly from the show to site and a new landscape design was constructed around the features of the show garden to suit the parameters of new landscape.
